New Trip to visit the Families in Esteli. . .

We're presently planning a visit to Esteli, Nicaragua, to visit with the families who make up the Families United group. Like the trip of this past April, we will be making home visits to all the families, getting to know them better and learning how we can best help them in their lives.

We will be assessing the effectiveness of all the programs, including the Garden of Hope, where we will discuss with Francisco, our gardener, how to make the garden more productive in 2010.

We will discuss with the FUNA Committee ways to make the Savings & Loan FUND responsive to the needs of the members.

We hope to see the new roof on the home of Maria Rodriguez--the first Gift of Hope: Christmas 2008 roof replacement projects we plan to carry out in the coming years.

And we'll bring back lots of photos to share with you in the photo gallery.
